I Think Cho'ing and feet stomping are all signs of poor characters.

However, I make an exception for female players. Fukuhara makes chooing sound like music.

High speed rallies  and and commentators seem to like this a lot, but I am still not huge fan of monotonous fast countering at the table... :?:

I love watching Manika Batra, the ONLY pro player who uses OX long pips at the table like we do. High level LP play.

Don't care about fast countering matches either.

I haven't followed much Manika Batra, bu it seems amazing that she can win against top level women with ox LP.  And it suprised me, that Feng Tianwei was afraid to play her pips side!

I can appreciate the style of womens play being closer to the table. Our coach has started this with my wife, and its better for her. She is not very tall and so staying at the table helps her. Its amazing to watch the women and how fast they are. Its a different way to play. I dont find it boring, and quite honestly, depending upon who is playing, the mens game can get boring to watch with a serve and one or two rallys at the most. This is not all the time, but when it gets into that rut it is boring, as well.
