Other than Johnny Huang is there any other duble pip user ? i think sometimes of trying to combine a SP on forehand and LP on backhand. With this setup on mind i think i would be nearly incapable of winning a game with spin of my own but it is the best one to manipulate the opponent's spin to my advantage (at least i think it is)

Many club level players use SP/LP combo. It is defensive setup that has nothing common to Johnny Huang.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gnp8Rjcfcec is a modern example of very different game with SP/SP.

There was Denis Neale back in the 1960s. He wrote a pretty good book. SP both sides. Also, what about Carl Prean?

If you're looking for SP/LP, I suppose there's also Old Man Huang - but he plays twiddling penholder.

40+ balls changed the playing and equipment meta. IMO SP become more viable and LP less viable then it was in the past.

I play double pips. Short Pip forehand, Long OX backhand. I use grippy Long's so that I can do fake loops/open against backspin. basically an aggressive attack game.

This game does in a lot of ways require my opponent to use even a little bit of spin - but because i use spinny short pips, if someone plays low balls to me, I can do a pretty regular spin up to get ready to start hitting from the next ball. I've been training this way since about NOV '19 and am pretty sure It's what I will stick to for the medium term at least.

I chose to play this way to simplify the way I play - now, i no longer feel the need to step back. I hold the table with both sides, twiddle very regularly and have a lot of fun in the process. added benefit is there's not many that play with my kind of style out there for my opponents (even the top level guys) so I can tend to keep up with anyone, as long as my fitness holds up :-)
