One league I play in has 3 divisions.
The 1st div plays best of five leg format (3x3 players) - one point given for each singles win and the double win. i.e 10points
2nd and 3rd play only all 3 legs (3x3 players) - one point given for each leg won. i.e 30 points

Is the play 3 leg format a popular choice and in operation for many leagues/divisions?

I have been trying to persuade the league to adopt the best of 5 format for div 2 but there is resistance to this from players who like the earlier finish.
A compromise for teams with juniors etc is quite complicated to incorporate in to the TTE site that the league uses.

Thanks!
