I just wish people would believe the flat earthers, before more surfers die unnecessarily...

The horizon to spherical earthers is seemingly curved lol.

A quick drive to your local beach will show the horizon is you guessed it horizontal.

Now to ball earthers this simple verifiable fact presents no problem.

They come up with a reply like the earth is just too big to see curvature.

But is it?

Other ball believers will accept the horizon is indeed horizontal but then point to gravity as the explanation.

There is no relevance of course in their answer but then if it helps them to stay in the majority then all is seemingly fine.

Go on a ship cruise and look 360 degrees all the way around.

The horizon will show no curvature at all.

Case closed I would have thought......

Someone brought up the flat earth discussion last week to a person I am not sure had ever discussed or considered it before.

He seemed rather surprised and shocked that anyone in this day might question the theory of a spherical earth.

I said to him when you go the beach does the horizon have curvature or is it horizontal - to which he replied I will look the next time.

Hopefully will get his answer soon and will post his finding.

Had a conversation today with a guy in his late twenties from America.

It was his very first attempt at learning to windsurf after buying some good quality beginner gear and he was failing miserably,very,very misrerably lol.

I thought I'd try to help him out and give him a few tips and after 15 minutes we got discussing some other stuff.

I brought up FE and he had heard all about it before.

Even had discussions back home with flat earthers lol.

He mentioned the perimeter ice wall etc.

He then told me categorically that he will never believe in flat earth.

That is no amount of evidence will ever sway him.

He also said what does it matter to life anyway.

I also remember saying to me he is not religious in any way.

Well he may not be religious in terms of having a church faith but he is mighty religious in believing their theory of a spherical horizon / earth.

That is he believes in it irrespective of any physical evidence to the contrary.

I listened to a video a week ago about the matrix or false reality we live in and the presenter made the valid point now that even in mainstream sources lots of lies of the past are now being exposed or at least touched on.

He then said but there may well be a glitch in exposing the matrix - meaning only certain truths are exposed.

Flat earth for whatever reason appears something they do not want to expose.

Apropos nothing, but what else is new?

There are no tides in freshwater lakes.

Seemingly the pull of the moon cannot pull freshwater lol.

Nearly all the official links I've read their excuse is lakes are too small to have tides.

Michigan Lake is nearly 500 kilometres at its widest point.

Always good to have a spare backup excuse lol.

Freshwater lakes have no tides at all though strong wind will move the water from one side of the lake further to the other side.

A shallow incline from the seabed to shore like in the Bristol Channel will result in tides going out and in at greater distances.

I was just thinking - maybe the moon is flat as well?
