Not much. It would be cool if the Table Tennis Techniques, Strategies & Coaching section got more visiblity somehow. Often one posts in there about a specific technique or help with a technique, and it goes unnoticed by most. Perhaps they are too siloed or too niche.

I'll offer a second thing, I think the space under the name and avatar could contain more content. TTDaily has a cool feature where you can identify your setup (blade/BH rubber/FH rubber) That would reduce the signature clutter between posts. But perhaps the software does not support that.

For example, I noticed that I didn't have a "location" label in that space, because I hadn't inputted my location in the user control panel. When I inputted the location, that label now shows.

You could have 3 lines and 3 separate labels:
Blade:
FH:
BH:

Which would show for me as:
Blade: Defplay Senso
FH: Xiom Omega IV Asia
BH: TSP Curl P-1R

Keep the character limit low enough so it's not cluttery.
The label (unlike TTDaily) would be minimalist and clean, no artwork, icons, or emoticons. IF you don't use it, the label doesn't show at all, which is even nicer.

Just less sub forums. I don't think there is quite enough traffic to require all of them.

Interesting, and what about people who list 2 or 3 sets up. Would that take up 6 plus lines, or would the 2nd and 3rd set up be tabbed along the page so they fit on the same line.

I do prefer the set up listed under the forum members profile / name on the left of the page though. That way the length of threads would be determined more by content than member profile.

There is only an option for one setup. So, your main setup.

Even with that, I don't notice anyone posting sigs with multiple setups in addition to it. The signature area is enabled.

I like the idea! I'll see if there is a module that supports this!

After some checking, it appears that this option is available and quite easy to implement. So following Japsican's suggestion, we could have it like:
Blade:
FH:
BH:

or perhaps

Blade:
FH rubber:
BH rubber:

Personally I like the FH: BH option. Takes up less space especially if it's to appear under your profile on the left of the page and leaves more room for rubber titles. Some rubbers have very long titles so unless there's a "word wrap" option, I doubt everything would fit on one line for FH and a separate line for BH rubbers.

I agree! That would be awesome and add such dimension to the forum. Unfortunately, I've never seen that on any BB forum.

Agree with Debater, less is more here. I would also add that, to make this effective you should really look at setting a character limit that would prevent the text from either wrapping or widening the borders of the column.

Thanks Haggisv for always taking our ideas in to consideration!

EDIT: Looking at Debater's location: Lancashire, England, it looks like the text does wrap. It's not THAT intrusive, so perhaps a 2 line limit as well as a text limit to prevent the verbiage from widening the column is the way to go. That'll keep it from cluttering enough I'd say.

Once you implement, we can test it to see if it would be better to limit to 1 line or not, text wrap or not. And I'd be happy to contribute in any way, and get screen captures.

well, yes, most bb engine implement categorical view first, and add tagging capabilities as option. :)
