So that is the correct name, Kokutaku Tulpe. What do you think about the performance compared to LKT Instinct ?

I prefer the instinct myself, but some of their blades are not bad and quality of all the ones I've seen is pretty good...

Thanks Haggisv, then I will buy the Instinct and Instinct plus. I have to wait for a while as it is currently out of stock at my local retailer.

I can certainly say that the Tulpe Tokyo 38 degree on the Galaxy 896 loops like a maniac. I have zero hits with any of their blades.

The full name is: Blutenkirsche 868 Tokyo (Japanese spg)

Tulpe, Tuple and Tuttle are all used as the name of the manufacturer, and they also make rubbers for Kokutaku which is a Japanese company.

You can find their range of rubber in our shop here:

Here is some company information:

I have a Tulpe 701. A good blade for the low price. Seems to be low Off- to high All+ in speed, at least compared to my Bty PhalanxII. Thin hinoki top ply (need to seal I think - at least I did, just to be safe). Flared handle is pretty thick, so if you have big hands, you might like it pretty well. It vibrates quite a bit if you like that feeling. Mine weighs about 84-85 grams, I'd guess (I've never weighed it w/o rubbers on it).

Thank you for the informations, I will have a look at my local retailer and decide whether to take Instinct and Instinct Plus or Instinct and Tulpe 701.
