They market that special TT sealer but I use flaxseed oil (purchased to season cast iron cookware) and it works fine. If you apply anything very thin it will have negligible effect on play.

I was going to suggest linseed oil, and then I find out it's the same thing...

Yup, like polyurethane it polymerizes when it dries. If you can't find the stuff sold for treating cast iron pots, they also sell it (as linseed oil) in art supply stores. Oil painters use it.

Should I buy glue marketed for table tennis, or are there other glues with the same active ingredients which would work just as well? Also, I don't have a good feel for the metric system, so how many ml of glue should be needed for gluing two rubbers onto one blade? I'm guessing that I don't need to even consider any volumes above 37 ml, but just thought I'd throw it in.

My Dear Fellow Forumers,

Just go and get the latex milk staff to your superior benefit and your heart`s pleasure.

The latex milk is the cheapest adhesive suitable best for table tennis applications.
My beloved clubmates enjoyed the staff to the full for most agreeable money expenditure. We applyed the staff quite massively to our heart full content. Dirt-cheap staff indeed, so happy acquisition for all tt players.

Friends,
You all must possessing a good sense brimful and your ears all open I guess, so I feel much reluctant to make my offer more than once. Those brainy guys are sure to take my advice to their great benefit, he who hesitates is lost, sorry...

HOW TO APPLY LATEX MILK ONTO THE RUBBER AND BLADE.
