To get back on my sponge question, does anybody happen to know a way to harden a sponge ? Soften is easy with glue but so far haven't heard of a way to harden a sponge.

Yes Foss, are you looking for another fall? They lock teenagers up for sniffing glue I think LOL. Don't know what they do with a senior cit who does it LOL.

Seems you have to have a special "don't serve this person Superglue" sign attached when you go shopping from now on

AH Foss... don't you know that SG is now the solution to EVERYTHING. Just combine two tubes with 300ml of scotch and drink it before it hardens. That way the SG will make your liver glassy and preserved and you'lll never have to worry about it again!! And what's more it will be great for spin reversal of anything else you throw at it on the future

Has anyone ever tried putting a thin coating of nail polish on their pips do you think it would work? or would it start cracking to early.
You can get non gloss nail varnish which would be virtually undetectable on top of the pips as long as it was a thin coat.
I have also heard of putting hairspray onto the bat face to make the pimples even stickier then coating the pimple tops with epoxy or something similar I belive the effects are quite unpleasant if you are playing against it
Interested to hear your comments with reference to the nail varnish.
PS lookin at the pictures of your coated pips I would suggest a thinner coat (only one) as the results on your returns would be more random as you would not even know what is being returned as a thick coat will just return reverse all the time and anyone with a brain will eventually work it out.

I just tried this with superglue and acetone but somehow i did not get the expected result. When my roller hit the glue/acetone mix it pretty much instantly hardened. Tried it again with a brush and got the same result. Tried several times again(also with thinner instead of acetone), but nothing seemed to work.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I just checked the aceton bottle, apparently it's not pure aceton, I guess that is the problem.

I used this superglue:

Just tried again, it now seems the glue itself is the problem. I spread 3 tubes out on a mirror and used the roller. The remaining glue on the mirror turned white pretty much instantly after most of the glue was absorbed in the roller.

I was able to apply glue to a dawei 388D though it yes it's very frictionless. However also on the rubber the glue turned white in some places. Still it seems the rubber now has great spin reversal, gonna try it tonight.
