Blade: Stiga Offensive Classic
FH: Tibhar Aurus Prime
BH: Tibhar Genius+ Optimum
Hi
I am customising my bat and in that I want to use stiga all round classic for the blade, tibhar aurus prime for forehand and tibhar genius for backhand I wanted to know if what I have thought of will work and synergise well with my playing style. I have an offensive playing style and have difficulty spinning on my backhand.

Yes, it will definitely work. But you will need some coaching. (I've absolutely no idea what Tibhar Aurus or Genius rubbers are like but I can guess.. )

If you have trouble spinning, use a slower rubber. KTL Pro XP works. Iskandar recommend Yinhe 9000, I'm guessing they are not much different.

Based on my experience with XT Green Dragon, it's probably a little slower than Yinhe 9000. But they're going to be pretty close.

Aren't the Aurus rubbers supposed to be relatively slow among Tensoroids? If not, why would Evolution MX-P exist?

Speed difference is not that big. New rubbers exist because they can. But honestly the ol forgotten 10 year Joola Xplode is as fast as any modern tensor.

My theory is that companies must introduce two or three new rubbers every couple years or they'll lose market share. The new rubbers bring hype, the company can advertise them and try to convince players that they HAVE to try them because they're superior to last year's rubbers. Only a tiny proportion of the new rubbers that appear every year is the result of new technology or innovation, the rest are simply minor tweaks and re-workings of existing sheets and given a different name. Tibhar alone has (good god, I just looked) 40 numbered sheets and 22 unnumbered ones in the LARC. WHY????? There's no coherency to the collection, and no one can actually tell you when you should choose an Evolution or a Aurus. What is Space for, and how does it differ from, say, MX-K? (Funny.. shouldn't "MX-K" be listed in the LARC as "Evolution MX-K"? It's not... )
