Hello can you guys recommend me a rubber for a Allround 1-Ply Yasaka Hinoki Blade JPen, I'm a beginner and just play with my friends and I will probably never join a club and be a beginner forever, but I do play 2 or 3 times/week as I have an outdoor table in my garden.

I know the blade is overkill for my level but it was a gift and I plan to keep it... It's a Yasaka Yagyu gold

I don't think I have a style , I like to block and wait for a power shot opportunity (that I miss most of the time :D ) it I'd say I play close to the table also.

I'm looking for as much control as possible as at my level I win by not making mistakes rather that power shots, and probably a soft/medium rubber?

I'm looking at the following rubbers Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft; Yasaka Rigan Spin; Yasaka Mark V...

Can you guys make some suggestions....I don't really know what I'm doing to be honest, at the moment I'm playing with a pre-made cheap Xiom Jpen.

Also the it will have to be a durable rubber as I play outside and it's going to get dirty covered in dust and dirt ....

perhaps the blue version of the ak47 series from palio could suit you, or a unboosted hurricane 3

I agree with the last post...AK47 blue (soft) would be a great choice, and at ~ $10, you can’t go wrong. H3 or H3 Neo would be fun too (I had H3N on my Jpen for a few years, great fun). Mark V would be a solid choice too.

Blade: DHS Hurricane Hao II
FH: DHS Hurricane III NEO Pro
BH: Nittaku FastArc-G1
I personally would try DHS Skyline 3-60 (medium).

It’s not too fast, has good grip/tackiness and feels very controlled in my opinion.

My theory is that the tackiness will teach you quite a bit ;)

Please let us know what you choose and how it goes!
