Hey all. I am going to be in the market soon for a table tennis table and rackets. I am not a pro player - but would certainly consider myself competitive, and would like a table that I can get better on and still use if I do actually make progress.

The location is in Canada - so I found some links for tables on Amazon canada.

First: What are some recommendations for Rackets? What are some of the best pre-made rackets (not into cutting my own rubber yet). Is there spray for stick too?

Second: Here are the tables I was considering. Any thoughts on which one may be a better get?

Hello!

I'm not going to recommend any premades in this post, as first I think it could be useful if you explained how you play~ I could just assume double-inverted shakehand, but I'll wait and see how you respond:

As for tables:

I can speak pretty highly of that JOOLA line. I talked myself down to the 18mm top for my home, but there only seem to be stronger features on the 25 you've linked. Many times when I myself was researching the JOOLA Inside line came up as a top table option for home use, and my own experience with it was really positive as well. Assembly did require me to borrow my wife for a bit, but from then on it's been fantastically easy to use and adjust.

The Stiga is closer to a 19mm I think, and honestly at that point I'd just find the 18mm of the JOOLA if you wanted to save a bit.

I can't speak to the Butterfly at all, but it certainly does seem to fold up nicely, which could factor into your decision. Hopefully someone else here will have deeper insights into that table.

I don't really know my play type... just to say casual.

I have decent reflexes, but not super great touch control or spin return.

I am more offensive on my forehand, and defensive on my backhand. I hold my racket USA/European style.

If you want some premade bats...

These are enthusiast-grade bats, as opposed to the horrible rec-grade bats you find on Amazon or at the local Wal-Mart. I play with the same blade.
