Blade: Stiga Allround Classic
FH: Sriver L
BH: Sriver L
Hi all

I'm looking to upgrade from the following:
Stiga Classic Allround Blade and was looking for something quicker but still retaining control.

Couple of questions please:
I've seen the following which looks like a very interesting option even if only available in CZ I believe.

https://www.vodak-dreva.cz/dreva/diolen ... l-plus/37/

Has anyone used one of these before and if so how did you find them?

Finally, have a few other blades that I'm considering:

Donic Applegren WC 89
Loki Red Flame
Nittaku Factive 7
Stiga Azelea Off
Stiga Azelea Allround
Stiga Nostalgic Allround

If anyone has used any of the above I'd love to hear your thoughts on them.

Many thanks in advance

Blade: DHS PG7
FH: DHS 651
BH: 1 sided (Red covering)
I believe you play Shakehand, I'm a penholder and I have played with a lot of stiga blades, although most aren't mine

The Stiga Nostalgic Allround is a blade with wonderful feeling, however this comes with the cost of weaker attacks (topspin) from mid to mid-to-far distance

Those attacks are STILL strong, but I wouldn't say it is stronger than the Clipper/Offensive version, still good upgrade though.

What rubbers are you using?
The Stiga Allround is a classic combo with hard tacky chinese rubbers to improve strokes, and I'd stick to that setup if I were you

Blade: Donic Defplay Senso
FH: Mark V HPS 2.0
BH: Dtecs OX
I personally used Stiga All Classic extensively to get back into TT before. I'll give my 2 personally experienced blades which I recommend for something not too much faster

Donic waldner senso carbon would be my number 1 recommendation.
Tibhar Samsonov Alpha (need to research that as I used the old version)

Some others would be (personal friends experiences):
Stiga ALL Carbon
Joola Roskopf Emotion
Stiga Offensive classic (might be a steep speed increase)
Tibhar stratus power wood (again might be too steep)

Get one of these things...

Even if you buy something else, order one of these, it's only going to set you back USD8 after all, and it's excellent. Yes, I think it's a little faster than the Stiga Allround Classic. My Stiga Allround Classic resides in a tote bag and I play with a couple of these. Excellent feel.

Blade: Tsp Black Balsa 3.0
FH: t05 1.9 boosted
BH: 388d ox black
Not familiar with the blades you listed but can tell you a little about Avalox 550.
This has been described as Stiga Allround classic on steroids and I agree with that.
It's All+ that's close to off- and I'm testing it now,it has genuine power that's easy to access,
Topspin drives to put pressure on opponent,
Very good looping blade.
Is a bit stiffer than allround classic so more stability when pushing over the table, still thin at 5.2mm but the core is thicker on this blade.
I just need to find which ox lp works best ,or may use a thin sponge...this one has caught my interest!

Stiga Nostalgic Allround is a very nice blade with premium look and quality. It feels soft despite of hard wood top layer.

IMO both Nostalgic Allround and Allround Classic are designed for topspin play close to the table only. You may want something more radically different if you need a blade change.
