Hi,

I would like to know which water glues are very easy to peel from the rubber without damaging the sponge.

So far, for me, Revolution n3 is very good, but I am interested to know if there are others.

Not found one yet. I either just leave the glue layer on or painstakingly use my thumb very carefully over an our to rub the glue off the sponge. Its a pain.

The DHS no15 has been the easiest for me. Thicker glues in general feel easier to peel off.

Unless you're going to be playing in an international level tournament where your bat is going to be subjected to VOC tests I suggest you forget about water based glues altogether - they're just not worth the bother (and can hurt your blade, to boot). Use Elmer's (or Best Test) Rubber Cement on both blade and rubber. I concur with Cobalt, just leave the cement on the rubber - if you need to re-attach the rubber you can usually get away with just one layer on the blade, the remaining glue on the rubber will stick to it.

If you're gluing OX pips then use a good-quality European glue sheet (these have a sticky side and a less-sticky side, you apply the less-sticky side to the wood, then apply the OX sheet on top of the glue sheet. If you detach the rubber, the glue sheet stays on the rubber, and you can re-apply the rubber to the blade without need of additional glue.

Thanks to everbody for your replies.

I just have to say that I finally bought NARAQ Odourless Pro Glue in a shop in Spain which is great, good adhesion and very easy to remove from blande and sponge.
