It seems both are using Cybershaped blade — expensive, I wish I could try it… not yet know anyone using it…

I must admit I'm not convinced about the marketing at all... and they''re quite a bit trickier to cut the rubbers to the shape.

If a larger area is what you want, there are all manner of oversized blades available, too. The Stiga ones might be really expensive, but I'd be surprised if there aren't already some Chinese knock-offs that shouldn't cost too much. Haven't looked in a while, so I don't know.

appear STIGA said their blade with special technique on the carbon layer treatment to make the blade harder & faster and at the same time not losing the power of control … that is the thing the cone Chinese could not copy… Secondly STIGA has got the Patent… Chinese cone should be illegal and may not have the same quality… BUT noted the price of the cone is just half… really tempted….

Compare to Oversized blade, I think this new design may have advantage on the weight that STIGA claim is just similar to a normal blade and larger sweet spot with gravity moving more to the tip / the head…

It is so tempted to get a cone to try….

But interestingly I find (only looking at pictures) … cheap Chinese cone quality is not that good…. If those good one, the price is not that cheap (60%+ of STIGA price) and their description telling different treatment / technology on the wood ply and carbon layer….

Found one particularly interested me - brand: Jeels Cybershape — not sure it’s origin, quality in picture seems ok, sale in China websites, with Korean language on the logo, the wording on the blade …. “New Zealand”… (very confusing…) but seems have a lot of different choices … even have one is 9 ply of junipers wood blade… one with nano technology is not cheap….

The other reason I want to try the Cybershape … because it look like a Chinese weapon (聖火令)in those Chinese martial art fiction story ( just another category) … ( Penhold racket = sword; handshake racket = blade,…)
