LION rubber products by @Sing Wo Sports Co*, the oldtimer manufacturing company residing in Hong Kong.

Some weird materials are now used by LION anti rubbers aiming to enormous damping effect on the ball. The novelty LION sponge is feeling solid, rigid and non elastic. For all given evidence, it is rather a EVA foamed material, the plastic widely used for DIY handicrafts, than a standard rubber material. We strongly suspect legality of this material. We strongly suggest the material should be re-tested by ITTF comissioned laboratory. Be twice as careful about those non-rubber materials.

The product shown in the website look nice, but no price is shown… how much is a standard rubber they are selling?

Cannot see the sponge or rubber texture in the photos… only limited info is provided …”synthetic material”… cannot tell…

Apparently Igor has never heard of synthetic rubbers. Lots of them out there, and there is no reason they would be illegal. He can "suggest" anything he likes, I doubt anyone takes him seriously.
