Which Chinese company do you think makes the highest quality rubbers?

I haven't tried Kokutaku (but will in a week or so), but have tried all of the others. The most consistent of the rubbers tried has been the 729 stuff, I have had quite a few sheets of all of them, and the ratio of high quality : poor quality has been best with the friendship.

The problems I have had include dull looking sheets of Galaxy rubber, Damaged surfaces/ dark marks on Dawei rubbers, poorly stuck down topsheets on Globe (jap sponges) and a dull looking black sheet of hurricane.

I have never had problems with any Chinese rubbers sent from Haggisv though.

Friendship makes the highest quality rubbers that are the most consistent. Ever since they started to focus on their new ranges, everything has been superb.

Globe has been a touchy one. Ive gotten regular 999 and 999T a few times and twice the topsheet was marked with dark patches and the gluing between the topsheet and sponge isn't strong enough. Only ones I really liked were the national stuff from before, which were glued excellently.

Dawei make the most euro feeling Chinese stuff of all the brands. The 388a,388d, inspirit, sprungfeder, saviga are all superior in performance compared to the likes of friendship. The quality however is extremely patchy. The sprungfeder is 100% consistent in my books. I had 4 sheets and all of them were superb. Original 388a, topsheet fell of the sponge easy. Inspirit and Saviga are patchy as well. If your lucky, you get a nice one. If not it falls apart.

DHS rubbers are excellent, on par with friendship. Only problem is the weight varies like crazy on the sponges and the hardnesses as well.

never tried galaxy rubbers for long so cant comment.

Kokutaku - The best of them all. Excellent topsheet and sponge and gluing for all the rubbers so far. When you open one up you get a super shiny topsheet staring you in the face, unlike some other brands that look like anti. eek.

Tried Globe, DHS and 729 - like them all but I don't like the DHS prices (more expensive) compared to the others without any merit.

I like the globe jap sponge better than transcend, but I have to admit the 729 topsheets are prettier and are glued better. My globe rubber has a bubble in it, luckily it's not near the playing zone. Galaxy impressed me, Mercury is a very good rubber for the price, just a bit soft for me. I don't find H3 to be anything special, a bit brick like. Dawei sponges are too soft for me and I haven't tried Kokutaku / Tulpe, I assume even the harder sponges of this brand would be too soft. Only 729 comes with a decent plastic film. The globe plays the best overall, so that's what I voted.
