You can see the poor state of my rubbers, specially at the black rubber picture. Daam polen from the pine trees.

My first and only 1-ply hinoki jpen Champion Bipa 9.5mm w/ CJ8000 on 2.2 Quattro 35°. I'm probably going to slap on outlaw or macro era once I feel I'm ready for it. Anyway enjoy the pics!

I can't really complain about the grains for the $20?~ish I paid ($12 + shipping from presports, or something like that) I can't wait to purchase another 1-ply jpen to compare it too. Whenever that is... ¬_¬

I received my new setup around 6 weeks ago:

Blade: Donic Epox Power Allround (A slightly more offensive move away from Epox Control)
Image
Forehand: Donic Vario Big Slam 2.0mm (Another slightly more offensive move away from Vario Soft)
Image
Backhand: Donic Slice 40 1.5mm (I decided to stick with this old faithful rubber - I doubt I'll change this unless forced to through discontinuation of product)
Image

Initial impression
On the whole, I'm very pleased with this bat. My game is definately more consistent when forehand looping, but it's the flat attack element of my game which is most improved. There is a very noticeable and pleasing "crack" heard when forehand smashing. With the added speed I 've found that my forehand chop is struggling a little (more practice should resolve this). Overall though I feel that the slight changes I've made have been for the better with improved overall performance and improved results. Regarding the durability of the big slam. I don't play all that frequently but there is already some deterioration of the rubber at the edges (the bat edges are taped). I don't recall any major contact with the table, so it's definately something I'll be paying attention to. Not the most expensive rubber out there, but at £30 a sheet, I don't want to be changing my rubbers any more than (at the most) once a season!

Those air bubbles might cause harm to your rubbers.

I just ordered Yasaka Musashi from presports. I took the heaviest out of the bunch (84g). Here are pics of the naked blade with the help of my friend's DLSR (watermarked with his nick).

Going to stick PME 42.5 2.0mm on it later :). When I feel more comfortable, I might post a review about it too!

My racket...

Blade: Donic Persson Powerallround, concave (Allround+)
Image
FH: Sriver G3 1.9, red (I love this rubber... )
Image

BH: Tackiness D 1.9, black
Image

The backhand is a little too fast. I want now to play more defensive, but long pimples are not good for blocking and counting and attacking - and I need the possibillity to attack. Now I have to look. I will try a Donic Slice 40 1.2, but this is as appropriate too defensive . Maybe I should try a 1.5mm rubber or short pimples...

We 'll see 8) ;)
Greetings, tabletennis_germany :).

Here it be. Still getting used to it after switching from inverted sponge, but I'm tethered to it now so we'll have to get along. Tried playing with the old paddle after spending a week with this one and couldn't do it; not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

You can see in the last one where I hit the table quite hard while trying to chop; went right through the Neubauer tape but I had a normal layer underneath and I don't think any damage was done.
