Status - Out of Business Janitor/Babysitter

Ahhhh, the mynamenotbob story. First time anyone ever asked.

Basically when my son and daughter were in middle school, my son mistakenly called another boy "Bob" while in the lunch room. To his surprise, the other boy, probably about 12 years old, totally freaked out. Screaming, tears, the whole nine yards. And to top it off, the boy had his grammar wrong and repeatedly shrieked "My name not Bob! My name not Bob!"

Needless to say, kids being kids, that boy was dubbed "Bob" from then on.

Anyway, the way my kids told the story it was very funny and for weeks after they would come home with hilarious new "My name not Bob" stories.

I guess I had that in my head the day I registered at OOAK. If I would have known I'd make 5000+ posts and start hanging around here so much I would have put more thought into my username.

I am glad someone asked (thanks Anti-Don) and I read that story cos I wondered for ages about it until it became so common to me that I forgot to wonder any more.
