My friend tried a new blade yesterday: http://www.japsko.se/offensive-wood/405 ... trike.html
Ha has been using Donic Cayman with Yasaka Pryde max on both sides for two years. Those two blades looks and feel almost identical, the Sword perhaps a little heavier and a little thicker. But it was also a little faster. Not much but enough to get that extra speed when attacking and still enough control when blocking. I did not try it myself, so this is just second hand info.

Nevertheless, if you like Cayman but want something faster, have a look at this blade.

The walnut should make it a good outer ply for pimples as well.

Probably, it is harder than the outer layer of the Cayman and therefore the dwell time should be shorter. But it should also be difficult to use such fast blade for a lp game. Worth a try perhaps?

The last days I have been using this thick blade (10 mm balsa) with frictionless anti Barna Original SuperGlanti 1,6 mm. Normally, anti and balsa is a bad combination but this anti works good with thick balsablades with hard outer ply. DMS Wizard Fire is such a blade, but also Sword Final Strike.

This blade has not been in production for a long time. Does anyone know a similar blade? With a thick balsa core (should be at least 7 mm) and harder outer plies. I am not sure if carbon would help here...

Here is Final Strike (bottom) next to Dr Neubauer Firewall+
