They are certainly supposed to be the same, because otherwise they risk losing ITTF approval.

I know a few years back, the different versions just meant they had a different sponge, so obviously since these are OX they should be the same.

The only difference I can see between the professional version 388d-1 and standard is a thinner more translucent Base sheet which may increase spin reversal ,I havn't tested it yet

This may (or may not) be just variation between batches. We were Dawei dealers for many years, and the variation between batches (blades & rubbers) were so high we eventually gave it up. I suspect they contract out the different batches to different factories, because there is no way there could be so much variation from a single factory. This is likely why there are not many Dawei dealers around the world. Of course things might have improved, my experiences were from almost 10 years ago.

Haggis I did wonder if that could be the case,I will try them alongside each other in a week or so ,in Daweis defence I have had numerous sheets of 388d which have been consistent without variation, the pips Kingdom packet 388d pips versions are the same as the old packet versions
The biggest variation between lp ox sheets for me was with Haifu Octupus, one sheet was translucent and played well the next sheet was more opaque and a different animal which I didn't like so much
