Depends on what you mean by "bad" - there's the traditional definition and the, er, hip-hop definition.

I was given a used (10-20h) sheet by a team mate two weeks ago and was quite surprised with how much more forgiving it is compared to T05. I love T05 on my FH but I twiddle quite a lot and it's a disaster on my BH. Dignics has similar firepower on the FH but works much better on my BH. Dignics feels more spinny (which also means that it's more spin sensitive so returning serves with my FH is a bit tricky). Great rubber but no way that I would pay the full retail price for it. I can get it for about 75€ discounted but it's still not worth it.

I tried it on my Victas Koji Matsushita and also on my backup blade (Liu Shiwen ZLF).

Yeah, but Shiba’s a bad boy.

(“Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good”, as Run and Daryl Mac would have it.)

I’d very much like to be able to play that bad. Won’t hear no “with Tenergy I f him” from me, nosiree!

Dang.. finally went to watch the Shibaev video to see which "bad" it is and apparently it's blocked around these parts. Time to investigate getting a VPN..

This rubber is really growing on me. Intellectually I want to hate it due to the pricing but it's hard to ignore the fact that it's extremely fun to play with. A lot of risky shots is actually landing on the table compared to T05.

Found these on that Chinese website.

SHOULD be identical. Pips spacing, height and distribution seem the same, but the top layer seems a little thinner on the Tenergy.

Iskandar

Tenergy has a little bit less space between pips and a thinner topsheet.

nb:
the tenergy image is a little bit larger than Dignics one ;)

According to Butterfly advertising, 05, 64, etc. refer to pips morphology and geometry. So you would expect Dignics 05 and Tenergy 05 to share those characteristics, though other characteristics (above-pips thickness, rubber composition and hardness, etc.) might indeed be different.

Tried out this rubber for just a few minutes on a friend's racket and the ball would really dip onto the table, it felt like you couldn't really overshoot the ball if you did the stroke right

Exactly my experience as well. There's an entirely different safety margin when using D05 compared to T05. Maybe a bit slower but I do put a lot more balls on the table.
