Check this out before reading this;
http://forum.oneofakindtrading.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=5738

It's my first time peeling rubbers and sticking them on.

So I've peeled off the Mambo H off the non-varnished Stiga NCT Allround Wood very very slowly to make sure no bits come off from the rubber and the blade. It went perfectly!

I used Nittaku's Finezip and managed to spead it evenly and waited for it to go clear. I stuck the REFORMA to the blade. The sticking went well.

Now, onto the interesting part;

So compared with Mambo H, the REFORMA's sponge is much softer, much more spin on the topsheet and more on loops due to the soft sponge. Less speed. Less crisp feel.

Right now I don't have the time to write a full review. I'll get back to it in a day or so.

Loops/Drives against topspin
The arc is quite high making it a ideal for looping underspin and playing spinny. Drives are ok but the soft sponge lacks power, 7/10. Looping is great due to the soft sponge and natural very grippy topsheet. Due to the high throw and sensitivity to spin you will need to adjust your bat angle. 10/10.

Loops against backspin
The soft sponge and high dwell really makes this amazing, looping chops are a breeze 11/10. Against pushes it is less dangerous than the Mambo H because of it's speed and high throw but you can loop with great control and consistancy is 11/10. Overall, 9/10.

Drives
Drives are hard to conjure up and they end up being slow but very spinny drives which doesn't really make it a drive does it? Drives are slow and due to the high throw are hard to do. 7/10

Smashes/Punches
Not exactly what it is made for. Reforma is mainly used on the BH and so it isn't suited for a flexy or soft blade. Smashes felt very indirect and the sponge proved to be too mushy. 7/10

Chops
The speed (slow) of the rubber can really keep chops low and spinny. I was expecting less from the 2.0 sponge but it really proved me wrong. I think that it can be used as an allround attack/chop game in the thinner sponges. 10/10

Babe Factor
Well the logo on the rubber is pretty attractive :lol:
The chopping and high arc loops can really impress the audience. :D

Update

Serves
Much better! Loads of spin, more than MarkV, Sriver but obviously less than GeoSpinTacky. 9/10

I've moved the Reforma onto my BH were it is more suitable. But I think that Reforma can really give dwell and spin on loops on a fast stiff blade and more power on smashes.

I'm sure there is something missing here RD. You peeled off the Mambo H, used finezip, then what? Did you glue a Reforma on? I think you could add a few additional words to make it clearer what you are talking about, as I read it 5 times and I think you are cmparing Reforma to Mambo H, but I'm not 100% sure! :?

Update, nearly 4 weeks with 6-10 hours a week, still going strong!

The spin is still very very strong and its mad super spinny loop is still going good.

Yeah Rooster, Refoma was a favorite of mine for a year, until I had to get new sheets and I saw the price. That led me into the arena of Chinese EJin'.

It's one of the best grippy mechanical spin rubber I've ever used. It may be on the mushier side but the spin you can get is awesome.

The thing is, I've adopted a more of a brush looping stroke for me, the brush looping is much better as I don't loop far from the table, don't rely on speed but rather placement and spin.

It may not be a fast rubber but if you put it on a fast crisp carbon blade (like Der says) it'll probably tame it and reward you with heaps of spin as well

I found much resemblance with Meteor 813 rubber with white sponge. But Meteor has a little bit of tackiness
